Trigg Beach

Trigg Beach is one of Perth’s most popular beaches for surfboarding and bogey-boarding. There are a small majority of swimmers, due to the number of boards always surfing. In summer, shifting sands fill the channel between the Blue Hole and Trigg Point for an awesome long continuous wave ride into Trigg Beach.

There is also a snorkeling beach close by to Trigg Beach called Mettams Pool. It is best to park a few kilometres north of Trigg Beach, just off West Coast Drive, for the best snorkelling in Perth.

Trigg nature reserve is situated opposite Trigg Beach and is a perfect park to kick a ball with your kids. There is also a great playground for children. The playground equipment has sun protection. Clarko beach side reserve near Trigg Island is another popular park. Clarko Reserve was created when beach shacks were demolished and shack owners were compensated with sub-divided blocks of residential land further east in the new Trigg suburb of Perth, Western Australia. These blocks are now worth millions of dollars.

Trigg Beach resides in the Perth jurisdiction of the City Of Stirling.
